Our vision is that LINK will deepen cooperation between two international leading research centers and research institution of widening region in the area of intelligent processing to support cardiovascular disease management in PHC, by identifying common research interests and by exploring synergies and knowhow to address specific research questions. These will create fertile ground for shared activities and interests by supporting common project proposal, common competitive grant proposal for students and shared R&D activities and results, hence achieving a continuum and an increased momentum in cooperation, a sustainable increase in critical mass, international impact and excellence.
Coherent with existing regional RIS3 topics, strategic goals of LINK are aligned with international scientific, academic and industrial key players in order to promote impact and excellence.The strategic goals of LINK are clustered into 5 broad objectives:
- To define a research agenda
- To deepen the link between research institutions in a sustainable way
- To enhance S&T excellence in intelligent algorithms for PHC for CVD management
- To increase international impact and recognition
